Técnicas Reunidas and Siemens Energy will design the La Robla Green e-methanol plant.

March 10, 2025. Specifically, the Spanish company Reolum, specializing in innovative energy transition solutions, has commissioned the consortium formed by Técnicas Reunidas and Siemens Energy to carry out the front-end engineering design of the project as a preliminary step toward its future physical execution in La Robla (León). Siemens Energy's work will focus on the renewable hydrogen unit, while Técnicas Reunidas' work will address the biogenic carbon capture and e-methanol production units.

The 'La Robla Green' project has been approved, with an investment of 700 million euros and the creation of 100 jobs over 25 years.

The Governing Council today approved the "La Robla Green" Regional Project, which includes the construction of an industrial complex for the generation of renewable electricity and heat using agricultural biomass, as well as the production of e-methanol through CO2 and renewable H2 capture, as part of a clean fuel production process. This project will generate a direct investment of nearly 700 million euros and the creation of around 100 jobs over the 25 years of operation in a depressed area following "the end of mining and thermal energy."

Reolum wins 46 megawatts of renewable energy in the third MITECO auction.

Madrid. October 26, 2022. Reolum, a company specializing in the promotion and development of renewable energy, has been awarded 46.1 MW in the third energy auction convened by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO), held yesterday. The award was for biomass technology and at a price of €106.25/MWh.
